(no subject)

So. After a long sleepless night of anxiety, I showed up right on time to the appropriate classroom this morning for my first day of intensive Greek. Two other students showed up too, so I knew I was in the right classroom. Yay!

Half an hour later, the three of us gave up on seeing any professor or additional student, and went upstairs to the academic advisor's office, where she was in the process of checking the class list to email us all about the class being canceled. Intensive Greek, which usually has to reserve slots for people with late registration and turns away people who want to audit due to overcrowding, only got three people this summer.

So. Um.

The advisor, who is a paragon among women, is trying to find a way to get two of us a graduate student tutor willing to essentially run that course through for us so that we can enter second year Greek in the fall. No guarantees there, but it's a possibility. So once again I am in the state of not knowing what the hell is going to happen with my summer, but...I should know by the end of the day! Probably!

This summer. This summer is going to kill me, I swear.
