Peejee is a clever cat, and quite interested in opening doors. She's gone for door handles many times, and has perfected the art of hooking open a door that's closed but not latched. She gets up on her hind legs to walk open cabinet doors, adjusting her angle as necessary.

The cat flap in the back door of the new place? Befuddles her.

We've tried shoving her through it. Holding it open for her to walk through. Standing on the other side of the door calling to her, while occasionally tapping the flap to show that it'll open with a little pressure. And she is deeply, firmly dubious about this whole thing.

It can't be a real door! Humans don't go through it!

I went outside again this morning, and tried waggling the cat flap at her a bit.

She went over to the poorly latched door, hooked it up, and tried to get to the back yard that way.

I'm not sure anymore if she's missing the point, or if I am.
