The dog is doing pretty well. She whines constantly in her crate while I'm at class, but I'm not home to listen to it, and the roommate can sleep through it from the other side of the house, so. I think we can all cope with this state of affairs.

I have a roommate right now, because the spouse is off in Minneapolis. Having a roommate is pretty spiffy; having the spouse in Minneapolis is sad; being able to pay the mortgage and buy cat food does rather trump the latter right now, but there you have it. (Where does all the money go? Mortgage and groceries and plumbing and vet bills and other necessities. Sigh.) Maybe in March we can meet up again.

The cats definitely have not accepted the dog into the family.

Greek is very difficult. Latin is interesting. The giant stack of books from the library is distracting. I was doing a complete reread of Paarfi through Taltos, but discovered I don't have a copy of Teckla, so it's paused at the moment.

I'm tired. I should go do my Greek homework, and then make dinner, and then collapse on the couch with the video game.

I would like to be doing a lot more writing, but when I have brain for writing, it needs to go to doing homework. Such is the way of the world.

Themistocles gave his speech! And then he was dissed! And he snarked right back about how everyone totally needed the Athenians, who could totally take their ball and go home, SO THERE. And now we finish up this section, then get some English translation bits, and move on to rather later. As one does.

Apparently the Greek allied forces are not known for their firm resolve on anything. )
