I am sort of tired today.

Not a bad day, really. Got through Greek with only one really frustrating flub. (I think I need to just go completely review how λανθάνω works, because I'm translating it properly but parsing it wrong.) Have to revise and submit an article summary for Latin by early this evening, which shouldn't take long; mostly I need to go through and clarify where the "this argument is weak/strong" stuff is my interpretation vs. the author's assertions. I picked up some bulk food ingredients for making presumably tasty steel-cut oat oatmeal overnight, so that should be nice.

Managed to stay away from one instance of People Being Horribly Wrong On The Internet by just avoiding that forum until I stopped wanting to storm back into the thread and shout at people. So that was something. Trying to figure out if I should engage or not with recent political horribleness. Not engaging feels like silent endorsement sometimes, which I hate, but I've only got so much energy to work with, and I'm not sure when it's useful for me to stand up and say "That thing that all my friends agree is horrible? Why, I think it's horrible too!" if I have nothing more useful to add than that.

I would like to write. Or possibly to play a shiny new little RPG with a decent interface and not too much time pressure. I love Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny and Atelier Totori and many another RPG, but they both keep hitting my "Augh! Running out of time!" buttons with how they're set up, and that makes me...twitchy. And XCom is doing the same, sadly. So. Games I love, but which I'm not playing right now because they stress me out instead of the reverse.

At least the dog is being a sweetheart. She is a good dog. As the nice lady told me on this morning's dogwalk, it's good to have a dog as a friend, because people are friends but sometimes evil influences brainwash them and they leave you, but dogs are always your friend.
