Dear yogurt manufacturers:

I appreciate what you do. The rise of Greek yogurt in the supermarket dairy section? A definite plus! The variety of fat levels in said yogurt, the different flavors... These are all good things. I like having some choices and selection. In fact, when I discovered that you were offering maracuya yogurt--sorry, "passion fruit" yogurt--I was actually kinda excited about it. I love that flavor. I bought three tiny tubs immediately.

Now, if I may digress for a moment. This whole "fruit on the bottom" thing is a little silly. It adds an unnecessary mixing step to the whole consumption product, and let's be honest, most of the time when I'm eating yogurt it's about 7:15 in the morning and I am not full up on my hand-eye coordination yet. If you want to just tell me that there's real fruit in the yogurt... I'll believe you! I'm willing to give you credit on this point. You don't have to separate it out into a sad jam slurry at the bottom of the tub to prove it to me.

So, returning to the passion fruit yogurt. I'm going to give you points for effort, here. Mildly unusual flavor. Authentic fruit bits. It's working well!

But oh god the SEEDS.

You know what I don't want in my yogurt? Seeds. Little black crunchy specks that taste like...seed. They are not delicious. This is not pomegranate, folks! (And I gave up on your pomegranate flavor anyway because of the seeds, which maybe I should've taken as a warning. My bad, there.) I am acquiring a tiny tub of little black seeds that I have to spit out with every bite and frankly this is detracting from the whole yogurt consumption process.

I got up late today, yogurt company. I have a caffeine headache. I have bills to pay. I just wanted a quick and straightforward breakfast item, and I had to track down extra tools for seed removal. Does this sound like a selling point to you? Because it is not a selling point to me!

Anyway. See if you can get on fixing that soon.

Sincerely,

Fade
