Statistics, in passing, on my current project (whose working title is Lesbians Yay! or Elf & Dragon, depending on how I feel about it at the moment):

Current wordcount: 55,158
Average wordcount per chapter: ~4600
Expected final wordcount: ~100,000
Expected post-edit final wordcount: ~85,000
Started on: November 12, 2012
Average monthly wordcount: ~7300
Goal completion date: August 2013
Expected completion date: AHAHAHA
It's nice to feel like I'm making progress, though. That's a chunk of wordcount, there. I am fully engaged with the obligatory squishy middle of the book. (And my goodness will a lot of this wandering get edited down in the second draft. But that's for later. Finishing first.)
