I like LJ's ability to do chatty community so much more than Tumblr's, I really do want to post more here. But it feels a little weird if I just keep posting "Here are my pets!", and with academia winding down for the semester, most of what else I have to talk about is writing. Forever writing. The difficulties of writing.
Thus, I'm wondering if people would be interested in more fannish posts. "Here is a thing I think is cool, here is why I like it, here is where you can find it/stuff about it." Not exactly reviews, but an attempt to spread some enthusiasm around, and maybe get some conversation about Things I Like in more places. (I have perhaps been wisting at the concept of fandom, lately. I blame all the time I've been spending on FFA.) Video games and music and books and what not.
Anyway. Must go walk the dog and then prep for the Mithras party, where I am determined to bring along that can of Red Bull and put a knife through it, even if no one else has gotten an altar together in time.

Mind you, I also like hearing about pets. And writing.
