I think I need a spreadsheet to figure out how to handle my meds. Or maybe something more complicated.
Antibiotics are four times a day; take after eating. Painkillers are every four to six hours; take after eating. Antibiotics and painkillers can't be taken too close together. I need to use the mouthwash after every meal, and...okay, surely they don't mean for me to have eight snacks a day with eight separate rinses, right? The bottle's only so big and it needs to last me a week. And I need to drink a cup of water every hour, and do ten jaw stretches every hour, though those only when awake...
I keep finding myself holding a jar of pills, a squeeze bag of applesauce, a bottle of water, and the care sheet while I try to figure out what the heck to do next. And of course it all gets very complicated at bed time.
Oh well. It still doesn't hurt nearly so bad as getting the lower wisdom teeth yanked did, so there's that. I thought that it was good to get it done before classes started so that I wouldn't have to deal with brain-fuzz from the painkillers while in classes. Now I'm thinking it's good because if I added bus and class scheduling to all this, my brain might explode.
