So! Undergarments. Let's talk about those.
Or, more honestly, would someone talk at me about them? Because I've been generally grumpy about the fact that bras are necessary since...around the time that I first had to start wearing them, and it seems like it's about time that I grit my teeth and just get over this Fact Of Life. Resenting the necessity and very existence of bras means that I've kinda resisted doing anything but buying the cheapest minimally acceptable ones for some time now, and that is starting to strike me as...perhaps...not the best idea.
I think I need to upgrade from "Ooo, those are medium and come in colors I like and have no lace! Score!" bras to something a little better, but I'm entirely unwilling to buy anything so delicate that I can't toss it in the wash with other clothes. I will end up never wearing anything that requires being separated gently from the plebeian clothing and washed separately, because I am a god damn communist when it comes to my laundry choices these days. And I hate lace, or anything else other than the least complex cloth possible, because again with the hating the concept of bras thing: I want to be as unaware of that piece of clothing as possible, because if I have to think about it, I am hating it. Actively.
Er. So. Perhaps a few lingering issues there! But I'm working on them. And probably I need an actual bra fitting, because it's been so long since I bought a bra with a number and letter instead of a Small/Medium/Large sizing (woo, sports bras! uncomfortable and unattractive but durable!) that I have no real idea what I wear beyond "...mediumish?"
